Bryn Reese Fine China began with a love of fine design, appreciation for detail, and the gifting of family porcelain collections including fine china tableware from generation to generation.
Born mid-century in the Midwest, I knew my home did not look or feel like anyone else’s. Surrounded by the works of Ray and Charles Eames, George Nelson, Russel Wright, and Michael and Francis Higgins, I was immersed in innovation, color, structure, order, placement and fine design as I took my first steps into the world of furniture, art, tableware, and entertaining.
Learning to paint porcelain through the artistic touch of my maternal grandmother – and to understand the meaning of setting a beautiful and thoughtful table from my paternal grandmother – the passion for all things tabletop became my life-long obsession - and now my firm - located adjacent to the Frank Lloyd Wright district in Oak Park, Illinois.
The many years of my career dedicated to setting tables for civic and corporate leaders, heads of government from around the world, and for my family and friends, has inspired me to launch Bryn Reese Fine China – a wonderfully unique collection of fine porcelain, including china dinnerware sets, for your table and for your gifting pleasure.
